Our Team

           I’m Elizabeth Gambet Dorsett, an interior designer with a passion for creating timeless, 

curated spaces by blending antiques with modern design. After graduating from 

College of Charleston, I attended Academy of Design, an interior design school in Chicago. 

I spent five years working in the city’s vibrant design industry, where I developed an 

appreciation for thoughtful details, quality craftsmanship, and interiors 

that feel both sophisticated and livable.

After moving home to Lexington, Kentucky, I continued my design career specializing in kitchen and bath design, helping homeowners create beautiful, functional spaces tailored to their lifestyles. Around that time, I reconnected with a childhood friend, and what began as a renewed friendship soon became something much more. We were married, and before long, we welcomed our two beautiful children. Becoming a wife and mother deepened my appreciation for homes that are not only elegant but truly lived in—spaces where families gather, memories are made, 

and everyday moments become meaningful.

With Elizabeth Dorsett Interiors, my goal is to help clients create homes that reflect their 

personalities while balancing beauty, comfort, and function. Whether it’s thoughtfully mixing antiques with modern pieces or designing spaces from the ground up, I believe every home 

should tell a unique story and be a place where lasting memories are made.
